WHAT ARE WAIST HEIGHT TURNSTILES?

GENERAL FEATURES OF WAIST HEIGHT TURNSTILES

Waist height turnstiles are the turnstiles that sit at waist height. These turnstiles may also be named as tripod turnstiles which mean three-arm turnstiles. These tripod turnstile systems manufactured from 304 and 316 stainless steel are produced for indoor usage. Our waist height turnstiles which are tested as suitable for extreme air conditions, are also protected against Vandalism thanks to their specifically produced steel mechanism and are manufactured as suitable for extensive usage. These are the models which can adapt to many different type projects and operate as integrated with access control devices such as single leg turnstiles, double leg turnstiles, token turnstile model options as well as any type of biometric systems (Fingerprint scanner system, Face recognition system, Iris recognition systems) and Card Access Control Systems (Mifare card reader, Proximity card readers, HID card readers). Among their features, waist height turnstile systems have also the capability to allow control from a PC through RS232 line.  With their optional specifications, they have an alarm system against unauthorized access thanks to photocells placed on turnstiles. In case of emergency or power interruption, arms turn idle towards both directions or drop, thus allow crisis evacuation and provide a safe security solution.
